Flos Caryophylli Ding Xiang 9g Warms the Middle Jiao, descends Qi, warms the Kidneys, assists Yang and relieves pain.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 9g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, expels Wind and alleviates pain.
With Chai Hu and Chi Shao, for Liver Qi and Blood Stagnation generating headache and/or chest pain.
Rx. Curcumae Yu Jin 9g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi flow, speeds healing of chronic sores, clears Heat, cools the Blood and alleviates pain.
With Zhi Ke, for Liver Qi Stagnation with a stifling sensation in the chest and fullness in the epigastrium and abdomen with heat signs and stabbing pains in the chest, flanks and abdomen due to Blood Stagnation.
With Chai Hu, for Liver Qi and Blood Stagnation with flank pain and distention.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 9g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat, cools the Blood, reduces swelling from sores and abscesses and relieves pain.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 9g Resolves Shao Yang disorders, reduces fever, harmonizes the Exterior and Interior, spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation and disperses Wind-Heat.
With Zhi Ke, for a stifling sensation in the chest, abdominal pain, poor appetite, and irregular bowel movement.
With Gan Cao, for upper right quadrant pain and Wind-Heat fever.
Rx. Isatidis Ban Lan Gen 30g Drains Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and cools the Blood.
Fr. Aurantii Zhi Ke 9g Promotes the movement of Qi, reduces distention and pressure and resolves hardenings.
